Pastel Artist

For many years, I expressed my artistic creativity through pottery, selling and teaching. Taking many pottery courses led to teaching children and adults. To help record my many ideas, I took drawing courses. A chance encounter with a pastel workshop mesmerized me by the gorgeous colours being used. I was hooked and now use pastel as my only medium. I am a member of Pastel Artists of Canada, Cornerstone Artists, Westover Artists, Art Gallery of Burlington and have participated in shows in Dundas, Milton, Burlington, Waterdown, Hamilton. I receive inspiration from Pastel Artists’ instructional DVDs; workshops; the many photographs my husband and I took during our travels and being with a group of painters who use a variety of mediums to create.
